The whiteboard marker is used to write and draw on a whiteboard. During use, the ink and solvent (ethanol) is applied on the whiteboard with the tip of the marker. The solvent is highly volatile and evaporates immediately into the atmosphere during application. The ink remains until it is erased mechanically with an eraser.
